Moretti was founded in 1967 on the intuition of Vittorio Moretti, who launched a small building company pioneering prefabricated units. Few builders regarded prefab-based construction as a feasible development at the time but, undeterred, Moretti set out with great determination.

The beginning of industrialized construction was not long in coming: the first construction system was designed in 1967. Since then, Moretti has participated as a major player in an epochal change in industrialized construction, championing new concepts and approaches: diversification, flexibility, strategic design consultancy and a Project & Construction Management service that can provide customized and diversified solutions. Moretti is now able to offer this outstanding expertise, which is unique in Italy, to entrepreneurs, investment funds, designers and construction companies.

OVER FIFTY YEARS IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

A production area of over 200,000 square metres is distributed over two locations, strategically located in Brescia and Vercelli. Moretti was one the first companies in Italy to invest in specific research to improve traditional construction systems via the integrated use of steel, wood, precast concrete and glass.

In 1984 it was among the first companies in Italy to offer integrated systems composed of reinforced concrete and laminated wood, suitable for various design and construction requirements. The functionality and versatility of prefabricated systems  meet the most demanding requirements and guarantees technological innovation, the highest quality control standards, timelines, precision and costs. The performance of products is standardized and certified to ensure the highest levels of quality and safety: production is subject to constant monitoring, providing guaranteed compliance with delivery and assembly times to the end customer.

The company’s skillset in terms of design and production has expanded to include areas such as strategic design consultancy, site management, installation and final inspection, and general contractor job orders. The internal synergies make it possible to tackle high value architectural projects that require significant technical and building resources.
