Our land is rich and varied, and is able to welcome and amaze. It is the source of inspiration behind all our ideas and the starting point for all our challenges, because the best sources of inspiration are simple things, the things we are connected to and believe in. The beauty of nature nourishes the beauty of our projects and the care we put into every detail. Together we will go where we have never been before, but without forgetting the deep roots that sustain us. We tenaciously respect the values of our past and our history, trying to evolve while remaining faithful to our vision and our project. The road we travel changes every day, but what really matters is to set our sights in the right direction and focus on our destination.
Our hystory
“INVESTMENT, STARTING FROM WHAT THE LAND OFFERS, TO PROVIDE ROOTS FOR THE FUTURE”"
This is the guiding spirit that has always permeated the great entreprenurial adventure of the Moretti Family: to undertake projects that confer value to the land and to the ethos that underpins it. It all began in 1967 when Vittorio Moretti transformed his great passion for ‘construction’ into a concrete project: Moretti Industria delle Costruzioni. And, as passions never arise alone, his love for wines inspired another great love: Franciacorta. The first winery, Bellavista, was founded in 1977. But to enter into complete harmony with the land, it has to be lived to the full. On the basis of this conviction, a new project devoted to hospitality was launched, giving rise to L’Albereta in 1993. New land in Tuscany and Sardinia was added over time to the original area in Franciacorta. This approach led to the creation of a holding company that oversees the growth of the group, encouraging each business to achieve its highest potential as it strives for excellence at every level.
Today, Terra Moretti operates in three sectors: industrialized construction, hospitality and wine industry. Since 1967, the family holding company has branched off in several directions. Moretti, a company that designs and constructs large buildings in concrete, wood and multi-material; two resorts, L’Albereta in Franciacorta and L’Andana with Tenuta la Badiola in Tuscany; six wineries in three regions: Bellavista and Contadi Castaldi in Franciacorta; Petra, Teruzzi and Acquagiusta in Tuscany; Sella&Mosca with Casa VillaMarina in Sardinia.
Since 2018, it has also worked on the conservation and enhancement of the historic Convento dell’Annunciata in Franciacorta, where Fondazione Vittorio and Mariella Moretti is headquartered. It was founded in the same year to promote and pass on the founding ideals and ethos of the group to upcoming generations, alongside the values that underscore the identity of a land.
Our vocation
OUR VALUES
Each of our projects begins with respect for what we have in hand and develops on the basis of all the values in which we believe
Quality: of work, life and intent. The way we turn our ideas into reality is definitely not without obstacles, but to stop would mean resigning ourselves to the mediocre. Just striving to overcome them, time and time again, leads to excellence.
Concreteness: the basis of concreteness is ‘good planning’ and ‘good taste’. To grow, however, you need to be practical in transforming a vision into a tangible project.
Dedication: pleasure can be found even where there is fatigue. Our passion to achieve the most challenging goals drives us to give our best and reinforces our willpower to push ever further.
Resourcefulness: we have learned not to be easily satisfied, to continuously explore new ideas and new opportunities, endeavouring to express their potential to the fullest.
“INGENUITY TAKES ON MANY FORMS BUT ALWAYS COMES FROM THE SAME SPARK”
“OUR VISION”
This spark still nourishes our passion, inspiring us day after day to look ahead and take a step further in translating our ideas into concrete reality. We believe in everything that can enthuse and engage. We embrace visions of the future that can amaze, striving to make them our own. We enable projects to evolve, rooting ourselves in our current space and time, but with an eye constantly focused on a new and possible future, because it is only by beginning with pride and love for one’s land and its people that the best initiatives can emerge.
